Selenite - Roses or Cubes -- Desert Roses - Gypsum

Selenite is one of my personal favorite crystals! Everyone always asks, this is it!

Selenite is a stone of mental clarity. This clarity enhances mental flexibility and enables strong decision making abilities. It can affect every day life as full mental clarity into play to lesson confusion and mental disorientation. I use it to wand myself or just sit and hold and feel it just absorb all the bad out of my body even emotions. Selenite is also a stone of truth and honesty. This promotes good business practices as well as honesty in other types of relationships. It is great for gridding small personal grids or even grids throughout a home. The cubes I have personally used in home grids placing them above door mouldings (see photo) and they sit will above most doors. The stone is very soft and can be "carved" to fit if need be.

Selenite is known for removing energy blocks, particularly from the physical and etheric bodies. It can also remove energy blocks in the bodies of other crystals and stones. This makes it excellent for enhancing the properties of other stones and for clearing and charging them. It is also an excellent stone for protection grids, as one visitor pointed out. Many psychics use selenite to cleanse not only their crystals and personal energy but also their tarot cards.

Selenite has a mors scale value of 2 - which means it is very soft. Selenite can break easily and can also dissolve if made wet. Please avoid soaking the selenite as it will dissolve.
